Al Jazeera has uncovered evidence of an Israeli diplomat's involvement in smear campaigns to discredit a British minister and other politicians.

Al Jazeera’s investigative unit went undercover with an Israeli lobby group for several months.

The investigation reveals conversations in which a diplomat plotted to damage the careers of MPs they feel don't give enough support to Israel.

Al Jazeera has been vindicated in a landmark ruling issued by Britain’s Office of Communications.

The decision addressed complaints made against Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit, which produced the undercover series “The Lobby”.

The series, broadcast in January 2017, exposed Israeli Embassy’s covert campaign to smear British citizens critical of Israel and its policies.

Al Jazeera's Clayton Swisher reports.

COMMENT

What Al Jazeera did have nothing to do with antisemitism but just with its job, journalism. Then, the Israelis cannot claim that they are Semitic because there historical continuity doesn't begin in Palestine but in Eastern Europe.
